Santa Monica Studio has announced that God of War Laufey has been delayed from February 16 to May 20, 2027, pushing the upcoming PlayStation 5 action-adventure game back by roughly three months.

The developer confirmed the revised release date in a statement, explaining that the additional development time will be spent putting the finishing touches on the game.

First revealed in June 2026, God of War Laufey shifts the focus from Kratos to his wife, Faye, who also serves as Atreus’ mother.
